HASKELL SLAUGHTER'S SPRATLING REAPPOINTED AS CHAIR OF
ALABAMA STATE BAR HISTORY AND ARCHIVES COMMITTEE

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - August 6, 2009 - Benjamin B. Spratling III, an attorney with Haskell Slaughter Young & Rediker, LLC, has been reappointed as Chair of the History and Archives Committee of the Alabama State Bar for 2009 - 2010.  The History and Archives Committee is charged with maintaining and preserving the historical record of the legal profession in the State of Alabama.

The Alabama State Bar is the licensing and regulatory body for the legal profession in the State of Alabama.  The Bar has jurisdiction over the conduct of all attorneys and is charged with stimulating interest in improving the administration of justice.  For more information, visit http://www.alabar.org/.

Ben Spratling is a veteran public finance lawyer who has served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel and issuer's counsel for bond financings throughout the state of Alabama.
