
Thomas T. Gallion III
Tommy Gallion is the senior member in the firm's Montgomery, Alabama office, where he maintains an extensive practice in civil litigation, employment law and local government law. Mr. Gallion has been frequently involved in high-profile litigation with substantial media coverage. He has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of civil cases, including litigation involving securities fraud, insurance receiverships, sports law and municipal law. In addition, Mr. Gallion has served as County Attorney for Montgomery County, Alabama since 1985 and also represents the Montgomery Industrial Development Board. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Gallion has been active in civic and community affairs in Montgomery. He has served as Chair of the Boards of Directors of the Montgomery Central YMCA and Downtown Montgomery Unlimited and as a director of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, the Montgomery Area Boy Scouts, the Montgomery Area Boys Club and Catholic Charities of Montgomery, among others. In addition, he serves as a director of Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society and has previously served as Assistant Securities Commissioner of the State of Alabama, as an analyst for the Alabama Legislative Reference Service, and as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama. He practiced for a number of years with his own firm, which merged with Haskell Slaughter in 1986.
