
Thomas E. Reynolds
Tom Reynolds has concentrated in bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors' rights for more than 25 years. His practice has included the representation of creditors and debtors in proceedings under Chapter 7 and Chapter 11, as well as providing advice and representation in nonjudicial debt restructurings, business liquidations and other debtor-creditor matters. Mr. Reynolds has also served as an examiner in bankruptcy cases and as a receiver in non-bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Reynolds has served on the Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the Northern District of Alabama since 1981, and has been certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification since 1995. In addition to his work in the bankruptcy and reorganization area, he maintains an active practice in estate and probate law.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Reynolds has served on the Boards of Directors of the Hoover City Schools Foundation and the Hoover Youth Sports Council, and is active in bar activities relating to bankruptcy law. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Business Alliance. Mr. Reynolds was recognized for bankruptcy law in the Birmingham Business Journal's 2006 and 2007 "Best of the Bar" polls. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law and in Alabama Super Lawyers. Mr. Reynolds is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees.
