
Maridi Thompson Huggins
Maridi Thompson represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters. She joined Haskell Slaughter in 2008 after graduation from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Law and Psychology Review, the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team, and the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Ms. Thompson is active in the University of Alabama Alumni Association and the Junior Patrons of the Birmingham Museum of Art. She is an active volunteer with Project H.E.L.P. (Homeless Experience Legal Protection) and the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyers Program, and serves on the Birmingham Bar Association's Pro Bono Committee. Ms. Thompson is a contributor to the Report on Alabama's Underinsured and Major Coverage Options, published by the Alabama Appleseed Health Insurance Project, and to DRI Trucking Compendium - 2008, published by DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar. She participated in the Birmingham Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class of 2011, and serves on the Advisory Council for 2012.
