Brennan C. Ohme
Brennan Ohme's practice focuses on insurance defense litigation at the trial and appellate levels, with a particular concentration on extra-contractual claims and class action defense. He is also experienced in other complex litigation and insurance coverage issues, and has represented insurers and insureds in a wide variety of civil trials and appeals and in arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Ohme began his legal career as Law Clerk to Judge Sharon G. Yates, Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, in 1995 - 1996. He was a member of an insurance defense boutique firm in Birmingham before joining Haskell Slaughter in 2003. During law school, he received first prize in the John A. Campbell Moot Court Competition and served as a moot court instructor for lowerclassmen. Mr. Ohme is a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Birmingham.
