Ashley S. Hugunine
Ashley Hugunine represents clients in the public finance, taxation and tax planning and general corporate and securities areas. She joined Haskell Slaughter in 2006 after graduation from Tulane University Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, as President of the Student Bar Association, and as President of the Business Law Society.
Before attending law school, Ms. Hugunine worked for several years in accounting and finance, first as a member of the Transaction Advisory Group with Arthur Andersen LLP and then as an Investment and Trading Strategy Analyst with Citadel Investment Group, a Chicago-based investment firm. In those positions, she gained exposure to clients and portfolio companies in a wide variety of industries, including the energy, financial services, automotive, chemical and semiconductor sectors. Ms. Hugunine is a registered Certified Public Accountant in Alabama.
